Stone of Help

Our new home (however it finally materializes) is named Ebenezer (Stone of Help).

Then Samuel took a stone,
and set it between Mizpeh and Shen,
and called the name of it Ebenezer,
saying, Hitherto hath the LORD helped us.
1 Samuel 7.12

Over the last few years, we have found ourselves on a journey from place to place, in  search of breathing-friendly housing. My airways have a low tolerance for certain materials and airborne chemicals that other folks would not think twice about.

Looking back, it seems as though God has guided us as sheep are guided through a series of fenced pens. As He providentially opened and shut various gates, we considered the applicable biblical principles and decide to go though this or that gate. Eventually, we found ourselves headed toward a particular kind of dwelling place: a little home on wheels.

As God enables us, we hope to add more about our Ebenezer and the shape it takes. You may be interested in our Ideas and Pieces of Home. We hope you may find it helpful to learn something of how hitherto the Lord has helped us.
